Oakland Park, FL – June 12, 2018 –Homegrown superstar meal delivery company DeliverLean is reinventing the traditional grab-and-go space with the launch of their new brand GRBNGO, a line of healthy, high-quality meals focusing on transparency of ingredients and consumer convenience. The GRBNGO line marks DeliverLean’s expansion from a direct-to-consumer meal delivery service to a USDA/FDA-certified large-scale food manufacturer.
As part of this strategy, DeliverLean secured a food manufacturing contract with Whole Foods Markets, and currently provides nutrient-packed green salads, deli salads, sandwiches, wraps and yogurt parfaits in stores located within the Florida region. And right in time for families feeling the back-to-school time crunch, DeliverLean will be rolling out a nutritious line of 15 signature ready-to-eat meals that will be available at select Whole Foods Market stores in the fall.
GRBNGO is just the latest project in DeliverLean’s rapid expansion. In the past 12 months, the company has grown at an unprecedented rate under the leadership of fast-moving Founder and CEO Scott Harris, who is currently in the process of EB-5 fundraising to help take the company from a regional powerhouse to a national player while creating hundreds of new jobs within the South Florida economy.
“Expanding DeliverLean’s positioning as a direct-to-consumer meal service to include the B2B space feels like a natural evolution of the brand,” said Mr. Harris. “We’re making it easier and faster for hotels, airports, hospitals and grocery stores to increase their profitability and improve the quality and consistency of their product by providing them with the opportunity to outsource their grab-and-go food manufacturing on a large scale.”
Formerly ranked the 124th fastest growing company in the nation and 8th in the national food and beverage category by Inc. 500, DeliverLean is breaking food manufacturing records, experiencing double-digit revenue growth since its inception. The company currently produces over 5,000,000 meals annually and operates two food manufacturing facilities, including a 60,000-square-foot USDA/FDA-certified kitchen in Hollywood, FL.
Currently employing over 300 people in South Florida, DeliverLean plans to scale its workforce as it continues to grow. To efficiently scale its current expansion, the company has recently hired a Chief Culinary Officer, FSQ Manager, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Manager, Production Manager, Vegan Chef and a Registered Dietitian.
DeliverLean is focused on disrupting the grab-n-go market, turning the industry on its head by providing convenient, healthy and affordable meals without sacrificing quality or taste. The company remains wholly committed to making healthy living accessible for everyone, from the school playground to the corner office.
